Stimulators imitiate the adult salmonfly (giant stonefly, Pteronarcys californica). Use when adult salmonflies are present. Near dusk, females salmonflies often gather in hoards, then drop to the river to lay their eggs. This is another fishing opportunity that should not be missed.
